I just saw the worst gore I have ever seen on regular TV on this show called Heroes on ABC. It was totally disgusting and at least as bad as any photos I’ve seen of dead Iraqis. SO why is OK for us to see fictional gore but not gore that American soldiers caused?
Lately I’ve had a hard time watching fictional acts of violence. But I loved the scene I think you’re referring to. I think that kind of violence is more palatable because of its context. It’s a science fiction show and you know the cheerleader is always going to be okay.
