What is happening in London should be a HUGE warning sign for the US. That will happen here very soon if something isn’t done to fix the geometrically worsening income gap. It will happen and people will wonder why they didn’t see it coming… just like all the financial bubbles… just like 9/11. Just like all the other obvious shit that people would see if they weren’t bubbling up in plasticland.
Until yesterday, I thought Americans would never react to this injustice being done. Now, I think it’s inevitable. A whole different kind of horror.
You’ll probably go into denial upon reading this. That’s fine, but please just do remember that I told you so. It’s important to me as I am quite shallow.

See the thing is- what the British rioters have done is they’ve made it conceivable. Americans seeing the British do this means that it’s feasible now- they can picture it happening where as before it was inconceivable… a reaction… a revolution. The world changed yesterday. This is VERY big and the US needs do so something BIG NOW to address the concerns of all the potential rioters here. Warhoop.
I’ve been anticipating something like this for awhile. When it does finally break out in America, I’m hoping that the fact that I live in a trailer park will save me from the looting/burning. Because clearly, the high-value shit is up in the hills.
