During that time, every single DVD they sent me was received by me the very next day. As soon as the trial ended, however, the DVD’s began taking about 2-5 days longer each.

I had read about this on Consumerist.com, but was skeptical. Now, I have experienced it first hand and believe that Netflix does this wait-and-switch on purpose. It’s really a stupid and short-sighted business practice.

I really hate when corporations act in such a way that makes it obvious they think their customers are complete morons.

Good riddance, Netflix!

P.S. In their automated response to my cancellation, they told me to return the movies I was supposed to have received two days ago! That’s chutzpah.

UPDATE: It turns out this problem is 100% due do my local post office not delivering ANY of my mail. Sorry about that, Netflix.
