If Apple does not do a U-turn on this one, the industry will walk away from them. There are more plenty more NLEs on this planet. Up the anti Avid, now's your time. As a fan of Yeast Radio, I'd miss it if it were to disappear completely. But, nothing lasts forever and all that bullshit. Life will go on. It sucks that you can't make real life-sustaining money from podcasting. But who, outside of those TWIT douches and Cankle Lewis can? Nobody can. I know there was a lot of promise in the medium when you started in 2004 but those days are looooooong gone. Nobody in their right mind would start podcasting today in order to make money. They'd be better off investing their time and money in a weight-loss plan crafted by Delois. I know that the whole "nobody makes money so why should I" justification is fucked from the start but it's the truth. And yeah - America is full of dumb right now. And the Internet's making everything dumber. But it's a lousy reason to quit. Because... I don't know why. It just is! It's like you're letting the dumbasses win. I mean, they're probably going to win in the end but you don't have to just let them. Anyway, I'll stay subscribed here and everywhere else, waiting to see what happens next.
