My Reply to Texafornia Regarding the Screening of Comments on Eat This Hot show
Categories: Politics, Tired Old Gals

Mess,

Andy Melton is still fat. You were supposed to help him loose weight but you FAILED MISERABLY. I can see why your boss hated you. You probably didn’t do your work. And seriously, do you think I would *ever* operate my show(s) based on what one person thought/said? We started censoring the comments on ETHS because I chose the feelings of a friend over those of a bunch of douchy listeners whose mimicry of my own style of insultry humor serves no purpose anyway. Sometimes, we have to make tough choices. I chose friendship over nameless douche bags. Sorry about that. Not really.

Now, if you don’t want to listen to my show, that’s your business, but YOU MUST HELP ANDY LOOSE WEIGHT OR YOU HAVE FAILED MISERABLY AT LLIFE AND ARE A SHAM AND MISREPRESENTATION OF A HUMAN BEING. FAILURE FAILURE FAILURE! HIPPOCRITE! All that.

Apathetically
Madge (Not Richard, you twit!)

Richard,

I think you should reconsider censoring comments. That is completely unlike the person you promote yourself to be and the opposite of what you demand from others. You were an inspiration for change and to be censoring undermines your credibility. I have told a vast number of people to listen to your show because of your integrity and standing up for the little guy… now, not wanting to so much.

Thanks.

I feel enough time has been wasted just complaining on Eat This Hot Show about the comments which people have been leaving or may leave regarding comment or opinions expressed in certain episodes, so for the sanity and best interests of the players and the show I agree with turning off comments or using comment moderation. I do however agree it’s against what we might expect from Madge, but you need to remember that Eat This Hot Show is a collaborative effort not solely the work of Madge. Maybe with this change certain players may stay aboard the project longer than a few months.

If you read all the published comments you can easily see that Madge never has censored differing opinions or criticism. She even tolerates it if you try to make fun of her (in a loving way) I did that myself poorly on several occasions and never got censored.

There is a difference between expressing your opinion or criticism and trying to insult or hurt the hosts of the show on purpose. Weeding out hateful or mean assaults has nothing to do with censorship!

To say this would undermine her credibility or unique integrity is simply wrong and untrue.

Richard I just left a comment over on ETHS and I hope it doesnt get censored. I love that show. I think it brings out the best of the hosts. I really dont know you personally, but I do think that Madge is for real in her views and opinions and is certainly not a fake or put on character. I think YOU really do care about the people in south america and the millions of Innocent Iraqi people ( Civilians and Children) who have been murdered by the country.
And both Madge and Wanda do a wonderful job of bringing out the real Vera Charles. Its a pleasant change from all the “lovie-land” bullshit.
